*~I don't know how to save!!! Please HELP!!!!~*

My problem is very simple. I never manage to save the money I earn. I just wanna know SMART ways of saving money and little tips on how to keep it safe. I know I should put it into my account as soon as I get it but I still spend it all the next day! I've just stopped modelling and with the money I earned, I offered myself all th e little things I'd always dreamt of but now I want to SAVE UP. It's about time now. How do you guys save you money? Please give me loads of different ways!

What I do is I write fake checks...I decide how much I want to put away from each paycheck and then I write down in my register-thingy that I spent that money...then I'll subtract it and it'll say that I only have 102.34 instead of 152.34 so I don't spend the 50 dollars I put away. Then when I need the 50 dollars for whatever I'm saving up for..I go through and add up all of the fake checks and then magically, I have the 152.34 again. :P

okay what you have to do is go to a bank and say i want to open a student account and they will give u a list of wat to do and u can get a bank account for free. there u go good luck, peter

I agree with her its all willpower. But other things that could are: Open another savings account under your parents name and give them the money and then they have to sign it out to get your money and hopefully you'll never need it until you go to college. Or: Write a goal chart. Like after a hundred dollars saved you can take 15 out of your next paycheck and blow it on anything you want.. Hope i es

it's all will power. You have to teach yourself not to spend it. put it in your bank account (or wherever) and don't let yourself touch it. Try to forget it's there. Never ever use the money that your saving to buy something. Plan how much is for spending, and how much is for saving. Put your speding money in a jar in your room, and put your college (or whatever you're saving up for) money in your account. Never thouch what's in the account. And never put more in with your spending money that you planned on. I hope I ed. It's easier than it sounds, what you get used to it
