Advice
My advice is that when you are ready to go to college or University you should try everything you can before getting a student loan.
1. Scholarships- Try your hardest to get a scholarship. They are not only for super smart people. If you do volunteer anywhere than you are eligible for a scholarship.
2. Get a job and start saving. If you get your first job in grade 10 save all the money you get. By grade 12 you will have More than $5000. Part time during school and Full time in the summer. This is really hard but if you are dedicated you can do it.
3. Check your parents. Have you ever heard your parents complaining they don't have any money and then buying some new expensive washing machine or something like that. Most likely your parents do have money. They just don't want you to know about it!
4.Try getting a sponsor. There are lots of men and woman who sponsor children through University and college. They've got the money to spend. Why not use it? The only catch to this one is you got to graduate. You can't take their money and leave University cause it's too hard. They want you to make it and that is why they are giving you the chance.
5. If all these choices don't work for you then I guess your only choice is a student loan. But it may not be the way you want to start off your life. Right after graduating you will have thousands of dollars to pay back!
