How much money?

Okay my problem is I work every weekend and make great money. I have been buying my own clothes for the last two years of my life and now I buy my own food and also take care of my bunny. (P.S. bunnies do cost a lot of money to take care of) Anyways...I was wonderIng how much it takes for me to have a good credit while I tend college? I don't want to go to college and have to beg for money from my parents all of a sudden! I haven't asked for money in about four years and i don't want to start when I am 18. So I was wondering how much money should I keep putting in my bank account to be safe? I already put at least $300 per month in my bank...but my cousin says I will need way more then $600,000. (That is an estimate of what I have. Please tell me how much you needed to tend college. I am not smart enough to tend a famest college and I only want to take classes in child management and beauty classes. Nothing more.

On average, college costs about 25,000 per year if you are planning on attending a private university. If you want to attend a state school, meaning that you go to a college in your state, then the cost of admission for that college is reduced because you are considered a state resident. Regardless, college will not cost more that $600, 000--however i doubt that you have that much money in your bank account anyways...maybe you meant 60,000? or 6,000? Good luck in the future!
