Words of advice.
I had often been told by many of my family members to invest my money when I get older. I have every intention of doing so. I know I'm a bit young but I started to think about exactly which companies I thought I could trust. You know, like Coca-Cola or Pepsi.
Then Mom and Dad got into a fight one night. He had been drinking. We stayed home that night but a few days later I had a doctor's appointment. Mom took me. It was a long trip and we started to my plans for the future. Of course, investing was brought up. I'll never forget what Mom told to do that day. She told me the two things that will probably never suffer a down-fall in the US economy. Tobacco products and alcohol.
Why not invest in those items? You always hear people say they're going to the bar or going to get a pack of cigarettes... It's sad but so painfully true.
